Being a parent is Hard Work sometimes, am I right? We love our kids SO much, and we just want them to grow up happy & healthy – but mostly we’re all just winging it because we wouldn’t have a clue where to start with the specifics (and who’s got the time/energy for more anyway?)
That’s why I’d love you to join me this workshop - I want to make it as EASY as possible for you to grow those happy, healthy kids by showing you how the foods we eat everyday can flow on to impact all areas of your child’s growth & development.
The workshop is ideal for:
Families with children 2 – 12 years of age
Soon-to-be parents or those with younger children who would like to understand healthy eating principles from the get go
Grandparents (or other carers) who take an active role in their grandchild’s life
The basic principles for healthy eating which we cover throughout the workshop will also benefit the entire family!
Topics we’ll cover:
Why a nutrient rich diet is important for kids
Some specific nutrients which are particularly important in childhood
Strategies for introducing new foods to kids
Tips for choosing nutritious foods & recipes
Some common energy-dense, nutrient-poor foods to limit
Insight on food additives & how to identify the best (and the worst) of them
You’ll also receive some helpful handouts to keep after the presentation which you can refer back to at any time.
The workshop is perfect for you if:
You’re exhausted by never ending decision fatigue & the mere thought of figuring out what you should be feeding your kids to keep them ‘healthy’ is enough to push you to the edge.
It feels like you’re constantly trying to juggle your kids around your business/work because they’re always off sick & you REALLY can’t afford to have to reschedule ANOTHER client or take ANOTHER day off (what parent even uses their sick leave for themselves anyway!?!)
